Possible Upcoming Patch

We’ve updated the PC version of Modern Warfare 2, including the following fixes:

- Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.

- Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.

- Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.

- Improved player collision removing cases of getting into geometry and ‘elevators’.

- Mouse latency tweaks for more mouse movement consistency. (PC-ONLY)

- Fixes to prevent various texture hacks (PC-ONLY)

- Fix to prevent various XP hacks, including the prevention of obtaining negative XP.

These fixes, excluding the ones I’ve labeled as (PC-ONLY), are currently in test for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions as well. Before you ask why there is a delay from PC to consoles, it’s because we can update IW-NET directly and therefore the fastest. The console versions require additional testing through their respective manufacturers.

btw, just had a damn good round about 10 minutes ago. 24-5. Got a 10 kill streak. Then with my Sentry Gun and Harrier I racked it up to 18 and finished it off at 24. Got the winning kill as well and it was perfect. Three bullets from about 70 feet away straight into the dudes Chest.

Read the comic again, they both are. The Knife classes and shotgun classes are both deadly as fuck. They do need to fix the the care package glitch though.

FMJ should make them more powerful than regular Model 1887 no perk.

I agree but the games not exactly fair anyway, especially when it comes to sniper rifles. I think they should be a one hit kill form the groin up. I mean how many people get hit in bthe gut with a .50 BMG round and just walk it off, it's BS.

I do agree with that also, because I've had many times where I've shot someone and end up getting 10 points for the assist.

Pisses me off.

I think it should be a 1 shot kill anywhere, if you have Stopping Power Pro.


Will I stop playing it? probably not. (acutally looking into getting Demon Souls though)
