How much space is a typical game save?

Not that big, maybe 1-2 MB. Some games do have a mandatory install of a few gigs though, I only have about 15 gigs free on my 80 GB version. The HDD can be upgraded later if you got that, should the need arise.

Use Craigslist or Ebay if you have too, but do not ever buy anything from Gamestop. They're quality sucks, they rip you off big time, and they do not care if your shit works or not. Trust me, I know first hand. Just because they certify it as refurbished doesn't mean it works. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people buy shit refurbished from them to only have it arrive DOA and then they are stuck with Gamestop. Because if that were to happen you'd only get store credit back, so they lock you into spending your money again in their stores. It's an uber scam from hell.

Do what I did.

Rather than spend an entire check on one. I saved up $50 here and there. Once I had $400 saved, I went and bought my PS3 and a game and had some money still left over.

What the differance between an 80gb and 120 slim they are the same price?

Uh, well its got almost twice the size in HDD space. And the actualy size of the system is a lot smaller. It's about the size of a small dvd player now.

Those headphones should work as long as you can pair them with the PS3. I think most if not all BT headsets are supported though. Alls ya gotta do is sync them together.

The old 80 GB PS3's could play PS1/PS2 games the new ones however can't.

So the only two real differences are.
The Fat 80 GB you can install a separate OS(Linux) on, you however can't on the 120. However the Slim does something I wish my old fat boy did. It can Bitstream Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD MA where as the fat PS3's(20, 40, 60, 80 GB models)have to decode it internally before sending it to your receiver.
